How to Participate
We want to hear from you!
The City of Jacksonville has over 400 parks to serve nearly 950,000 citizens so the public involvement and outreach for the Plan will focus on engaging community members from all over Jacksonville.
Our public involvement process is designed to get input from the community, and give you the information you need to stay informed about the Plan update process. By working together, we can all feel a sense of pride and ownership for the future of parks and recreation in Jacksonville.
The Public Input Phase will kick off with an online survey, followed by a series of virtual workshops and in-person meetings.
Virtual Workshops
Three (3) virtual workshops will take place in Fall 2023. At each workshop, you will hear about the Master Plan Update goals, vision, and guiding principles and be able to provide feedback, comments, and insights about the City’s Parks System.
